The Geneva Graduate Institute’s MAS in International Relations will allow you to navigate today’s complex global affairs. 

The pathway is designed for professionals and is compatible with full-time positions. It offers maximum flexibility by choosing specific thematic courses covering all areas of international relations based on one's specific interests and career goals.

Executive course in theories and practices of international relations

  • Intensive 5 days in Geneva

Final assignment

  • Highly flexible format to suit students' professional needs (policy paper, advocacy paper, individual professional project, research paper)
  • Supervised by an expert in the chosen area

Admission

Conditions d’admission

  • Selection is primarily based on the candidate's professional experience and motivation.
  • A bachelor's degree is required, or a diploma deemed to be equivalent (no particular discipline)
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time work is highly recommended
  • Proficiency in English is required

Master of Advanced Studies in International Relations (60 ECTS)

To gain the 60 ECTS, participants have to complete the following successfully:

1. Degree-granting programmes (CAS and DAS) to be chosen from the Graduate Institute's Executive Education portfolio for a cumulated value of at least 45 ECTS

2. The Executive Course in Theories and Practices of International Relations

3. A final assignment must be completed at the end of the MAS.
