Le Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 10 crédits ECTS.

Le Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 30 crédits ECTS.

Programme

Module 1 - full-time - CAS & DAS
3 weeks in one of our regional hubs and 2 weeks online

  • Get critical perspectives on key problematics related to global development challenges
  • Analyse region-specific issues and interactions between policies, practices and stakeholders
  • Rethink projects using strategic management tools, with a long-term perspective
  • Acquire methodological skills to carry out a professional thesis

Module 2 - part-time - DAS
4 months at your workplace with e-learning

  • Conduct data collection and analysis for your professional thesis
  • Write your professional thesis (on a thematic relevant to your work)
  • Attend elective e-learning courses on different topics, including on gender

Module 3 - full-time - DAS
2.5 weeks in international Geneva

  • Strengthen your leadership and communication skills
  • Present the findings of your professional thesis to your peers
  • Participate in work sessions with public administrations, international organisations and NGOs

Plan de la formation

1 crédit ECTS correspond à environ 25-30 heures de travail.

Admission

Conditions d’admission

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) and several years (ideally 5-7 years) of professional experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience)
  • Proficiency in either English, French or Spanish
  • Support of the applicant's organisation - Diploma only
  • Optimal age: between 30 and 45 years - Diploma only

Audience

  • Professionals who hold or aspire to hold leadership positions in governments, international organisations, NGOs and the broader civil society space
  • Professionals from the private sector seeking to gain knowledge and experience in the field of development

Coûts

  • CAS: CHF 8'500.-
  • DAS CHF 3'500.- to 25'000.- according to country of origin.

Diplôme

  • Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS
  • Diploma of Advanced Studies DAS

CAS in Development Policies and Practices (15 ECTS credits).
DAS in Development Policies and Practices (30 ECTS credits).

Both programmes count towards the Executive Master in International Relations (60 ECTS credits).
